The provisional results of the elections for delegates of the General Mutual of Civil Servants and State Employees of Côte d'Ivoire (MUGEFCI) have been released. This Tuesday, April 21, 2026, the president of the National Electoral Committee (CEN), Koné Colette, officially announced the overwhelming victory of the "Health Solidarity" list.

A resounding victory

The April 18th election turned into a plebiscite for the leading list, which won the vast majority of seats to be filled.

The winning list consolidated its dominance thanks to a strong national presence, notably winning 97 seats in the Abidjan district alone.

A process marked by resilience

Despite calls for a boycott from some opponents, the president of the National Electoral Commission (CEN) emphasized the active participation of candidates from all backgrounds. She interpreted this success as proof of the rigor and transparency of the electoral process.

"This attitude constitutes a real victory for the culture of solidarity among civil servants," said Ms. Koné, praising the civic-mindedness of the mutualists.

Next steps: Litigation and Validation

Although the trend is clear, these results remain provisional .

  1. Right of appeal: Candidates have 5 working days to make any appeal.
  2. Litigation period: From Wednesday 22 to Monday 27 April 2026.
