Free Humanitarian Mission in Bonoua: The NGO "A Voice for Padre Pio" serving the people

Mission Humanitaire Gratuite à Bonoua : L'ONG « Une Voix pour Padre Pio » au service des populations

The international non-governmental organization (NGO) "A Voice for Padre Pio" has announced the organization of a completely free humanitarian health mission in the commune of Bonoua, in Ivory Coast.

When and Where?

Dates: From November 8 to 17, 2025.
Location: Yaou Medical Clinic, in the commune of Bonoua.

Mission Details:

Specialized Consultations: Approximately sixty orthopedic consultations will be conducted with the aim of identifying patients requiring surgical intervention.
Free Operations: Ten children suffering from bone deformities or cleft lip and palate (commonly known as harelip) will benefit from fully funded surgical interventions.
International Expertise: According to Mr. Djouka Bruno , vice-president of the NGO, two specialized surgeons, accompanied by their assistants and anesthesiologists, will travel from Italy to put their expertise at the service of the people of Bonoua and neighboring villages.

NGO's commitment:

“All consultations and operations will be completely free of charge,” Mr. Djouka Bruno stressed during his interview with AIP on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

Founded in 2011 by its executive president, Vincenzo Palembo, the NGO "A Voice for Padre Pio" is actively committed to alleviating human suffering and providing essential support to vulnerable populations through social and medical actions carried out in several countries around the world.
