Abidjan : La SOTRA déplace le terminus des lignes 48 et 60 à Anyama

Starting this Friday, November 28, 2025, a major change will impact the bus network of the Abidjan Transport Company (SOTRA) in Anyama. The terminus for lines 48 and 60, previously located at the Town Hall, will be officially relocated to the Anyama Depot.

A new starting point to decongest the city centre

SOTRA announced this reorganization in a press release dated Wednesday, November 26, 2025. The main objective is to improve traffic flow in the Anyama area, which is often congested during peak hours around the old Town Hall.

From now on, all first and last departures of lines 48 and 60 will take place from the Anyama Depot . SOTRA management considers this infrastructure to be better suited to managing passenger flow and bus maneuvers.

The new timetables from the Anyama Depot

Passengers accustomed to taking their bus from the Town Hall will therefore need to adapt to this new departure point. Here are the details of the new timetables implemented starting this Friday:

Line First Departure (Anyama Depot) Last Departure (Anyama Depot) Last Departure (Return Direction - Banco/Town Hall)
48 5:00 AM 8:10 PM 9:05 PM (from Anyama City Hall)
60 5:00 AM 8:50 PM 9:00 PM (from the Banco terminus)

Please note that for line 48, a departure is maintained from Anyama Town Hall at 5:39 a.m., and the last return departure will be at 9:05 p.m. For line 60, departures from the Banco terminus will be staggered between 5:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Reduce disruptions and improve punctuality

According to SOTRA, maintaining the terminus at Anyama Town Hall regularly caused traffic disruptions due to narrow roads and passengers stopping. Moving the terminus to the depot provides buses with more space, which should reduce the risk of congestion and, consequently, improve route punctuality .

In its press release, the company apologized to users for the inconvenience caused by this transition phase and the necessary adjustment period. SOTRA emphasized that this decision was made in the public interest, to improve the transport network for the residents of Anyama.
