Abobo : le GSPM clarifie les circonstances du décès d’un sexagénaire
The Military Firefighters Group (GSPM) provided details following reports of the death of a man in Abobo Anador.
In a press release, the GSPM indicated that it was contacted on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 3:09 p.m. for an intervention concerning a person suffering from a medical emergency, reported in front of a polyclinic in the area.
In accordance with procedures, an Emergency Rescue Vehicle (VSU 16) was immediately deployed. Upon arrival at the scene at 3:26 p.m. , emergency responders discovered a man of approximately 45 years old , unconscious, with no breathing or blood circulation .
Despite the rapid intervention of the teams, the death was confirmed at the scene .
The police went to the scene to carry out the usual procedures, while the funeral services were called in to take care of the body.
The GSPM took advantage of this communication to call on the media to relay verified information , recalling its willingness to provide reliable data on its interventions in order to avoid any confusion.
The institution also reaffirmed its primary mission: to provide assistance to populations in all circumstances , in accordance with its motto "Save or perish".
