Adieu la facture papier, place à la FNE !
This is a small revolution in the business world. The General Directorate of Taxes (DGI) has officially ended the use of the standardized physical invoice. Launched in July 2025 to secure state revenue and combat tax fraud, the Standardized Electronic Invoice (FNE) is now the sole legal standard.
What this means for you: If you don't use the electronic format, you will no longer be able to deduct your expenses or reclaim your VAT. Worse, your tax file will remain blocked: no Tax Compliance Certificate (ARF) will be issued without prior registration on the dedicated platform.
The DGI therefore invites all business leaders, from SMEs to micro-enterprises, to regularize their situation immediately via the e-tax portal or the site dedicated to the FNE to avoid any disappointment during their next declarations.
