Conduite sans permis : l’influenceuse “Maabio” auditionnée par les autorités ivoiriennes
Ivorian influencer Yeelen Virginie Kouamé, better known by her pseudonym "Maabio", finds herself at the center of a road safety case after a video went viral on social media.
According to an official statement from the Permanent Secretariat of the Commission for the Suspension and Withdrawal of Driving Licences, the intervention of the authorities follows numerous reports from citizens denouncing driving deemed reckless and contrary to road safety rules.
The video in question shows the influencer driving a vehicle, sparking strong reactions online.
After being questioned by the authorities, Maabio admitted during her interview that she did not possess a driver's license. The authorities consider this a serious traffic violation, especially since the act was publicly displayed on social media.
Given the seriousness of the allegations, the case was immediately transferred to the Abidjan Police Prefecture. The influencer is scheduled to be questioned there this Thursday, February 12, at 11:00 AM, as part of the next stage of the proceedings.
This case reignites the debate on the responsibility of public figures and content creators in promoting law-abiding behavior, particularly in matters of road safety.
