Côte d’Ivoire : tragédie à Abobo PK18, le corps sans vie d’un jeune retrouvé dans un caniveau
A gruesome discovery has shocked the Abobo district. The lifeless body of a young man , identified as N'Guessan Emmanuel , was found in a gutter in the PK18 neighborhood on November 3, 2025.
According to reports, the victim, who had recently enrolled in a vocational training program in Building and Public Works (BTP) , had been missing since November 1st. An orphan living in Abobo Baoulé, Emmanuel was described by his family as a studious and unassuming young man.
The discovery of his decapitated body, in circumstances that remain unexplained , has sparked shock and anger among residents. Police have launched an investigation to determine the causes and perpetrators of this particularly violent crime.
So far, no suspects have been arrested , but local authorities are calling for the public's cooperation in order to shed full light on this case.
In the Abobo district, this tragedy has reignited the debate on the safety of young people in the working-class neighborhoods of Abidjan, where cases of assault and disappearances are increasingly worrying residents.
The devastated family of the deceased is demanding justice and hopes that investigators will be able to quickly identify those responsible for this tragic murder.
