Côte d’Ivoire : Un enseignant perd tragiquement la vie dans un accident à Yakassé-Attobrou
The educational community of Yakassé-Attobrou is in shock. A teacher, identified as Mr. Kei Joseph , professor of History-Geography at the Modern College of Diangobo-Fiassé , lost his life this Tuesday, October 28, 2025 in a traffic accident that occurred in the department.
According to initial reports from the KOACI website, the tragedy occurred as the teacher was returning home from work. The particularly violent collision also reportedly claimed the life of a motorcycle driver involved in the accident.
The news of this sudden death has caused great emotion in the locality. Colleagues, students and relatives pay tribute to the memory of a man described as dedicated, respected and passionate about his profession . "He was a model teacher, always available to his students," confided an emotional colleague.
At this stage, the exact circumstances of the accident have not yet been clarified by local authorities. An investigation is expected to be opened to determine the causes of this tragedy, as road safety remains a major issue in several rural areas of the country.
