The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Adama Diawara , announced a comprehensive modernization program that includes the renovation of university residences and the creation of new dining facilities.

A transformed living environment for academic success

The announcement, made this Friday, March 6, 2026, at Félix Houphouët-Boigny University, is part of a broader effort to place the student at the heart of the education system. The minister outlined several areas of action:

1. Infrastructure: Construction of new university residences in Daloa and Korhogo .
2. Catering: Improving the nutritional quality of meals and building new restaurants.
3. Financial support: Revaluation of the processing of scholarships and financial aid.

This announcement was made during a sharing ceremony held in the midst of the Muslim fast and the Christian Lent. To support students and staff (teachers and administrative personnel) during this period of penitence, significant donations were distributed:
