On Friday, May 8, 2026, the Sainte-Marie high school in Cocody resonated with the spirit of civic engagement. Under the auspices of the National Commission of the Francophonie (CNF) , a high-level panel entitled "Generation Peace: Youth's Contribution to a More Peaceful World" invited young women to assert themselves as the new guardians of social cohesion.

For Professor Dion Yodé Simplice , Vice-President of Félix Houphouët-Boigny University, peace cannot be lasting if it is dominated by men. During his inaugural lecture, he emphasized that the involvement of women in decision-making spheres is no longer an option, but an absolute necessity.
