Paquinou 2026 : Le GSPM déploie un dispositif de sécurité d'envergure
To ensure peaceful Easter celebrations, the Military Firefighters Group (GSPM) has reinforced its presence throughout the country. Intervention units have been strategically pre-positioned on major roads and in high-traffic areas.
Key monitoring points: Emergency services are stationed at the Attinguié and Djebonoua toll plazas, the Abidjan-Grand-Bassam highway, and the Bamoro and Jacqueville intersections. Increased surveillance is also in place on the Northern Highway (Lomo-South interchange), the Napié road, and at kilometer marker 103.
Beyond monitoring, the GSPM (Motorized Police Group) urges caution: "Arriving late is better than not arriving at all." Authorities recommend avoiding speeding and taking a 15-minute break every two hours of travel.
In case of emergency: Use the free mobile application "Firefighter Alert" , available on the App Store and Play Store.
