In the heart of Worodougou, the commune of Séguéla is the scene of a heated controversy. What seemed to be a simple personnel reshuffle within the municipal administration has turned into a veritable local political issue, pitting supporters of a youth leader against the municipality.

A disguised political sanction?

The spark for this conflict is the transfer of Ibrahima Sory Diomandé , an influential local figure as president of the RHDP Youth Union. Previously employed in the civil registry, he was reassigned to the technical services as an assistant.

His supporters believe the calculation is purely political. On social media, criticism is pouring in:
