Félix Houphouët-Boigny University (UFHB) has taken a major step in child protection. On Tuesday, December 23, 2025, a memorandum of understanding was officially signed between Professor Ballo Zié , president of the institution, and Jean-François Basse , UNICEF Resident Representative in Côte d'Ivoire, for the creation of a specialized Master's program in children's rights.

A lever for employability. Beyond the theoretical aspect, this partnership includes advocacy forums (conferences, seminars) and initiatives to strengthen young people's skills, thus facilitating their professional integration. Professor Ballo Zié reassured everyone of the Faculty of Law's capacity to lead this project, pledging to make this collaboration a model of success for Francophone Africa.
