Controversy is growing around Yan Diomandé, a young Ivorian international, currently competing in Morocco. The cause: an announcement from Max Gradel's management team claiming to have renewed the player's contract. This version has been formally rejected by Dez Bamba, president of the Sud Comoé Academy, Diomandé's former club.

Reached by phone, Dez Bamba wanted to clarify the situation. He was categorical. "Yan Diomandé did not renew his contract with Max Gradel's organization," he stated.

According to him, the images circulating on social media prove nothing. "Show us the contract, not photos. There was never a renewal signed," he insists. He explains that the organization allegedly made a transfer to the player's account, promising a vehicle. But Yan Diomandé clearly expressed his refusal to continue the collaboration.

According to Dez Bamba, Max Gradel then sent an emissary to Morocco, Martial Youkpo, to have a document signed renouncing the funds paid and terminating the contract. "That day, there was a reception with the players. Photos were taken on that occasion. That's where the confusion comes from," he explains.

When questioned about the reasons for the player's refusal, the president of the Sud Comoé Academy remained deliberately discreet. "Out of respect for this organization, I prefer not to say more," he confided.

Regarding the rumors of a commission received during the initial signing, Dez Bamba firmly denies them. He calls them false information spread to influence the player. "That money belongs to our team. It's clearly written in the contract," he maintains.

He goes even further. For some time now, Yan Diomandé has reportedly been receiving threatening messages, while he is focused on the competition. Some of his teammates on the national team have even advised him not to renew his contract. "Since signing with this organization, he hasn't benefited from any major advertising contracts, neither in Ivory Coast nor in Europe," he laments.

For Dez Bamba, the matter is now closed. "The player terminated the contract and waived the money paid without his consent. It's over. Yan Diomandé did not renew," he concluded.
