Casper Ruud surclasse Ugo Humbert pour remporter le titre à Stockholm
Ugo Humbert failed to capture the title at the ATP 250 in Stockholm, losing heavily in the final to Casper Ruud. The in-form Norwegian swept aside the French number one 6-2, 6-3 on Sunday.
The match was entirely dominated by Ruud. Humbert was never able to destabilize his opponent, quickly losing his service games and failing to convert his rare return opportunities. The Norwegian, who played, in his own words, "his best match of the year," was unstoppable on serve, conceding only one point on his serve in the second set.
In just 1 hour and 8 minutes, Casper Ruud wrapped up the match, claiming his 14th career title and second of the season. "Sorry about today, Ugo, I think I played my best match of the year against you," he said after his victory.
