Drame routier à Bouna : 4 morts et 15 blessés près de Flatchiédougou
The tragic series of accidents continues on Ivorian roads. While the country is still mourning the victims of the accident that occurred on the San-Pedro road on February 8, a new tragedy occurred on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 , near the village of Flatchiédougou , on the road leading to Bouna.
The accident involved a public transport vehicle, commonly known as a "Massa," which was traveling between Man and Bouna . For reasons that remain unclear, the vehicle was involved in a violent crash, resulting in a heavy death toll.
Alerted, the National Office of Civil Protection ( ONPC ) services quickly arrived on the scene to secure the area and extract the victims. The injured were urgently evacuated to the nearest medical facilities to receive intensive care.
In response to the surge in these tragic accidents, authorities are reiterating their safety guidelines. The National Road Safety Observatory (ONPC) strongly urges drivers, particularly those of public transport vehicles, to exercise increased vigilance and strictly adhere to the highway code to preserve human lives.
