Fraude frontalière : 21 tonnes de café interceptées à Doropo
Customs Mobile Brigade agents in Varalé , Doropo department, halted a cash crop trafficking operation on Thursday, April 23, 2026. During a control operation, they seized a massive shipment of 21 tons of coffee .
When questioned at the scene, the couriers admitted that the merchandise was en route to Burkina Faso . The owner of the shipment was not present at the time of the raid. This operation constitutes a flagrant violation of the Customs Code , which strictly regulates the trade of agricultural commodities.
General Da Pierre Alphonse , Director General of Customs, made a point of personally congratulating his teams for their vigilance and the success of this seizure.
