Prévention des inondations : L’ONPC en mission d'inspection à Adjamé
Faced with the imminent threat of heavy rainfall, the National Office of Civil Protection (ONPC) has intensified its field operations. On Thursday, May 7, 2026, a technical delegation visited several sub-districts of the Adjamé municipality to identify high-risk areas.
This strategic reconnaissance aimed to identify critical sites in order to deploy preventative security measures. In total, eight sites were thoroughly examined, particularly in the Dubai, Beirut, Sonitra and Macaci sectors.
The situation is urgent: many homes, built in the immediate vicinity of drainage channels, are at serious risk of collapse. The ultimate goal remains protecting the population from the dangers of the torrential rains expected in the Abidjan district.
