Filière anacarde : une usine de transformation de cajou bientôt opérationnelle entre Niakara et Katiola
Une nouvelle usine de transformation de noix de cajou est en construction à Kationon, un village de la commune de Katiola. Le site est situé en bordure de la route nationale A3, sur l’axe Niakara–Katiola, dans la région du Hambol. L’AIP a constaté l’avancement des travaux sur place, vendredi 16 janvier 2026.
Le projet, baptisé « Kiklan Agro », comprend deux grands bâtiments destinés à abriter l’unité industrielle. Il s’agit de deux entrepôts de 3 000 m² et 4 000 m². Les travaux ont débuté en mars 2025 et sont réalisés par des techniciens asiatiques. La mise en service de l’usine est prévue au cours de l’année 2026.
Selon les informations recueillies, l’usine ambitionne de transformer jusqu’à 15 000 tonnes de produits dérivés de la noix de cajou par an. Elle vise à valoriser la forte production d’anacarde de la région du Hambol, l’un des principaux bassins de la filière en Côte d’Ivoire.
Le projet aura un impact important sur l’emploi local. Il prévoit la création d’environ 90 emplois permanents et 200 emplois temporaires. Une opportunité pour les jeunes et les populations riveraines, avec à la clé une amélioration des conditions de vie.
L’usine « Kiklan Agro » compte également approvisionner les marchés locaux et internationaux. Son implantation s’inscrit dans une dynamique de transformation locale des produits agricoles. Elle vise à réduire l’exportation brute de la noix de cajou et à renforcer la valeur ajoutée au bénéfice de l’économie régionale et nationale.
