Diplomatie culturelle : L’ambassadrice du Canada salue l'engagement de Christian Ouaka
Le renforcement des liens culturels entre Abidjan et Ottawa a franchi une nouvelle étape ce 30 décembre. S.E. Mme Sandra Choufani, ambassadrice du Canada en Côte d’Ivoire, a reçu Christian Ouaka, directeur général de l’Association des francophones du Nunavut (AFN), pour saluer son rôle de pont entre les deux nations.
Au cœur des échanges : le dynamisme des artistes ivoiriens qui bravent le climat arctique pour se produire à Iqaluit. L’ambassadrice a notamment souligné l’impact de ces mobilités sur le rayonnement de la Côte d’Ivoire au Canada. Elle a également annoncé un projet de rapprochement inédit entre les cultures ivoirienne et inuit. De son côté, Christian Ouaka a confirmé la venue de l'artiste Kerozen pour l'édition 2026 du Mois de l'Histoire des Noirs au Nunavut, succédant ainsi à Bébi Philip et Agalawal.
