Meeting in Council of Ministers on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the Presidential Palace in Abidjan-Plateau, the Ivorian government took a major step forward in social regulation. 2. Dialogue and internal organization: Setting the rules relating to the works council , the procedure for conciliating collective disputes and updating the internal regulations.
3. Health and safety: Employer's enhanced obligations regarding occupational health services, hygiene measures and housing conditions for permanent workers.
4. Administration: Standardization of the employer register model and collective agreements.

The implications of this reform go beyond mere administration. For Amadou Coulibaly, these decrees aim to harmonize the interests of both parties:

"These texts organize the strengthening of workers' rights and their participation in the life of the company, while guaranteeing the development of productive, decent jobs that respect human dignity."
