The Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) announced the referral of fourteen individuals to the High Court of Dakar , for extremely serious offenses, including organized gang pedophilia, pimping, rape of minors under 15 years of age, unnatural acts and voluntary transmission of HIV .

According to the investigation, these individuals are involved in a structured, transnational criminal network operating between Senegal and France since 2017. The group is suspected of having organized the sexual exploitation of young boys, which was filmed and disseminated, on the instructions of their alleged leader, Pierre Robert , a French national, who was arrested in April 2025 in Beauvais.

The investigations were conducted under an international letter of request , with the collaboration of the French judicial authorities. A delegation composed of French magistrates and judicial police officers stayed in Dakar to support the investigations conducted by the DIC.

Among the fourteen people implicated, four individuals described as “sex trainers” confessed to the charges against them, claiming to have acted on instructions and in exchange for financial transfers. Searches conducted in several locations , including Almadies, Ouakam, Kaolack, and Tivaouane Peulh, led to the seizure of various items related to the offenses and the arrest of individuals connected to the network.

The Senegalese National Police reaffirmed its determination to fight against all forms of crime , particularly those targeting vulnerable people and children , also highlighting the major risks to public health that such practices represent.
