The Ivorian Electricity Company (CIE) informs its customers that power supply disruptions will occur in Abidjan and several other locations in the interior of the country. These disruptions, beginning this Saturday, February 28, 2026 , are expected to last three days.

The cause of the outage: The network operator is carrying out major maintenance work on the natural gas infrastructure dedicated to electricity production.

The calendar:

Start of works: Saturday, February 28, 2026.
Expected end date: Monday, March 2, 2026 at 5:00 PM .

Although the precise areas have not been listed, CIE assures that measures have been taken to minimize the impact on homes and that its technical teams remain mobilized for a rapid recovery.
