Daloa : un individu interpellé et une importante quantité de drogue saisie au quartier Orly Plateau
As part of Operation Sparrowhawk , law enforcement conducted a targeted intervention against drug trafficking in the Orly Plateau district of Daloa on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 .
According to information from the Narcotics and Drug Enforcement Police Directorate , this operation was triggered following an anonymous tip reporting the existence of an open-air smoking den in the area.
The operation set up by the Daloa Regional Office teams led to the arrest of a 22-year- old individual , identified by the initials BS . Police also seized eight kilograms of cannabis , forty-five doses of cocaine , and completely destroyed the smoking den discovered at the scene.
This operation is part of the national strategy to combat drug trafficking and consumption , led by the National Police throughout the country.
The authorities reiterate their determination to continue these field actions as part of the " Serving, our vocation " mission, and invite the public to actively collaborate by reporting any suspicious behavior.
