Cacao 2025-2026 : Une campagne record avec 2 800 milliards FCFA déjà versés aux producteurs
The cocoa sector in Ivory Coast is in full swing. Barely three months after the launch of the 2025-2026 campaign, the indicators are green: 70% of national production has already reached the ports of Abidjan and San-Pedro, injecting a historic financial windfall into the rural world.
The Coffee and Cocoa Council (CCC) confirms the strong performance this season. Key statistics to remember:
While the start of the campaign was marred by attempted fraud (purchases below the fixed price of 2,800 FCFA/kg ), the regulator reacted immediately. To protect producers' income, the CCC took a tougher stance:
"These measures have helped to restore confidence and deter any attempt to dispossess the planters." — Source close to the CCC.
The other major turning point in this campaign is the operational implementation of the Interprofessional Agricultural Organization (OIA) . Chaired by Siaka Diakité, this structure becomes the single, credible interlocutor with the government and international partners.
The objective is clear: to put an end to the "cacophony" of unions without legitimacy and to offer a solid framework for defending the interests of producers, buyers and processors.
Thanks to smooth logistics and increased monitoring of price compliance, the 2025-2026 campaign stands out as one of the best organized of the decade, consolidating Ivory Coast's position as the undisputed world leader in cocoa.
