Mobilisation historique à Adzopé : La Mé et l’Agnéby-Tiassa célèbrent le bâtisseur Alassane Ouattara

Saturday, April 11, 2026, will be a landmark day in the annals of the Mé and Agnéby-Tiassa regions. In an unprecedented display of enthusiasm, more than 40,000 people flocked to the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Adzopé. Their objective: to express their profound gratitude and unwavering loyalty to the President of the Republic for his leadership.

A sacred union around the Head of State

This day of unity, marked by gratitude, brought together an impressive array of decision-makers. Representing the Head of State, Minister Gaoussou Touré witnessed the unity of the region's leaders. Elected officials, government members, prefectural authorities, and traditional leaders from neighboring regions all answered the call to honor "the builder."

From the outset, Florence Achi , wife of the President of the National Assembly, set the tone by hailing a "record turnout", seeing it as a sign of the people's deep attachment to President Ouattara's vision.

"Seeing these young people, these women, and these leaders gathered together to say thank you is a more powerful message than any speech."
  1. He emphasized that this gratitude is not based on promises, but on tangible realities : roads, schools, hospitals, and jobs. For him, the Head of State is a "tireless guide" whose rigor and discipline serve as a model for all those who serve the nation.
  2. Pierre N'gou Dimba , Minister of Health and chairman of the organizing committee, highlighted the country's structural transformation since 2011. He specifically cited the Adzopé Regional Hospital and the improved road access as major examples of the President's particular attention to their regions. He urged the population to maintain this momentum of unity to secure the gains of development.

A report that speaks for itself

The interventions converged on a unanimous observation: the governance of Alassane Ouattara has profoundly changed the face of the Mé and Agnéby-Tiassa.
